![]() June 2008 3D Security NewsletterNew Products | Tech Tips | 3D News New ProductsWe introduced the Mini-DVR & Digital camera in April 2008. The Mini-DVR is a completely stand-alone unit that is about the size of a deck of cards. What sets it apart from other min-DVR devices is that our video quality is much higher, which is crucial when trying to identify faces and details. The other key feature is that it is designed to be connected optical equipment like telescopes, spotting scopes and endoscopes. Currently, this is the only device we know of available for recording video from this different optical equipment. Click here to learn more about the Mini DVR system. 2. Defender Z-1 Has Signal Flare The Defender Z-1 Multi-Function Electrode Gun recently introduced the Signal Flare/SOS cartridge. The cartridge fires a signal flare up to 100 meters vertically into the air with a force of 20 joules and it will continue to light while it descends for 50 meters. This is ideal for coast guard, military & people in remote areas. The main feature it has over its predecessor is that it incorporates an LED light beside each antenna. The light turns ON to indicate which cell phone frequency it has detected. This information can be crucial in helping to narrow down which cell phone was detected. Click here to learn more about the 3DCPD-3000G cell phone detector. Our TFL-5 Tactical Flashlight incorporates a 3 watt LED that has a 10,000 hour bulb life and can run for 200 minutes on one set of batteries. The light output cycles between low/medium/high/strobe/SOS, giving law enforcement and military valuable tools in engagements in the dark. An Attack Bezel at the end turns the TFL-5 into a weapon. These are very low-profile Cell Phone Jammers that are designed to be installed in one corner of a room and be completely inconspicuous. The unit looks just like a square tile with all the antennas already built in. Most people would have no idea what it is, making it ideal for meeting rooms, restaurants, movie theatres, banks and prisons. 6. IR Remote Control for Our Cell Phone Jammers An IR remoter control is now available for all of our cell phone jammers. It has a range of about 8 meters and it comes with a 2 meter cable. This is ideal for applications where you might not want the cell phone jammer to be ON all the time. Tech TipAn omni-directional cell phone jammer is usually not the best choice for use inside a prison. Even using a high-power cell phone jammer installed in a central location may not be very effective as the jamming signal must penetrate through a large number of reinforced concrete calls. Several directional cell phone jammers like the CJ-ATA10 and CJ-ATM30 installed in key locations will provide far better results. This recommendation is referring to jamming the cell phone signal in the actual cells. If you want to jam the signal in common areas, there may be other options. Since prisons layouts are different, we will be happy to help design the optimal installation. News1. New brochure & user manual for the 3DCPD-3000G. Please go to our website to view our new documents. 2. New diagram for the car jammer. We have a new diagram for our vehicle mounted cell phone jammer system http://www.3dsecurity.biz/cell-phone-jammer-vehicle.php. Four omni-directional antennas are mounted on top of the vehicle which can be folded down when not in use. Two additional longer antennas are required for jamming short-wave frequencies when using our CJ-160VSW cell phone jammer model. 3. The CJ-SA4 cell phone jammer has been discontinued. 4. New cell phone jamming frequencies. Our cell phone jammers now also cover the following interface standards: AMPS,N-AMPS, NMT,TACS,GSM,CDMA,TDMA,IDEN,UMTS & PCS.
